Va va vooom...
Well, I had an eventful and nice few days off. On Thursday I went to see Tash and we had a BBQ, which was great even though it wasn't blisteringly hot and sunny. Had an amusing time on the bus when Tash told a random woman how I like to write smut and did so on the way. (Which was very true!) Hehe, so now all these people on a London bus know how my reputation precedes me. And if all the conjecture about Ronan Keating covering Iris wasn't enough, he was one of the Cosmo centerfolds this month. Oh dear. But James Toseland on his bike..va va voom indeed! ;)
On Friday went shopping for some bedding and decided that I am much too old to go shopping with my parents as I came back in a bad mood and with a migraine, despite having got everything I needed. Including the most comfortable pair of black wedge-type shoes from Clarks. High-heeled shoes with an upper that was so soft, perfect for the wedding I'm going to. Also got my new Arsenal shirt so all ready for the new season.
Still had a headache yesterday (and indeed, it's still lingering a bit today) so just chilled out and watched some S6 of ER after my appetite was piqued by seeing The Domino Heart on More4 on Friday. I just love that end scene with Luka and Lucy. "I'm European, we like to be gallant." Aww. Then watched the rest of them today so that I got to the end of the season, forgot how sad an ep May Day was for Luka, didn't remember him sitting on the El platform disconsolately at all. Those summers with the S6 reruns seem like a long time ago. I'm sure that I didn't see that ep on the first run of S6 here because I thought that Such Sweet Sorrow was the finale! D'oh! I must transcribe that deleted scene with Abby and Malucci from that ep, it's very funny.
So..that smut I was writing, sort of. Well, The Appointment 3 is done on paper and I've just started typing it up, so hopefully I can just throw it onto the comp and I'll be happy with it! Yeah, right. I'm still yet to be swayed on the total need for actual smut in the final bit because I just can't bring myself to sabotage the ending that I'll have. We'll see. Rest assured, I am working on it, I'm just SLOW these days. Don't know why, not much confidence and time and inspiration these days sadly. :( Maybe I should stop whining and start writing, eh?
European Athletics Champs this week, should be good.
Back to work tomorrow. *sigh* I want to stay at home with my DVDs!
