worked at the food bank this morning. felt satisfied. i helped to sort food that had been donated from throughout the community. got to throw many cans of veges, soups, and fruit into large bins, and hear that satisfying 'thwack'. it was less of a communal effort than the last assignment i'd had, so i basically went through the morning without speaking much, but felt very useful and good.
went for frozen yogurt after doing the work. was very tasty. haven't had frozen yogurt in a long time. came home, and anne was still in her pajamas. i felt jealous. wanted to revert to my own pjs, but instead showered and put on pants that are almost as good as pjs.
mouna, ellie's mom, and i have been emailing back and forth a little bit, because she had to let me know of a date change for a meeting. it's funny to read her voice.
i was craving chai, so i went to the coffeehouse i like, but i didn't bring my wallet... it was still on my bed. i guess it was tired, too. so i ended up going a different place, and also buying a cd (noe venable) and a literary magazine... the title of which escapes me.
