Yesterday was a fun day in illustration. We had a 3 hour assignment in Pratt's class and I love those assignments. Thiel co-critiqued and pretty much said my piece was the only finished one and best looking. Everyone else had like...sketchbook pages or 25 percent finished paintings.
But really that's how I treat all of my illustrations. I never have the patience to spend more than a couple hours on them. After a few hours, the work just becomes tedious and boring to me. Maybe I'm ADD. The only class where I can spend more then 2-3 hours on an illustration is figure painting. I get nervous thinking about next year as my final year because there are still so many art classes I want to take at ringling but I need to knock out my liberal arts and what if I get a sucky time slot again?
I want to take landscape painting, advanced media, advanced figure painting, and advanced computer illustration.
Well actually, I think I can fit those it.
By the way I'm totally obsessed with the Lifetime channel. I love to watch WifeSwap because the women on that show look so horrible and wear the worst make up. Ugh THROW UP on women who wear thick eyeliner. How about looking classy and wearing natural looking make-up instead of looking at a raccoon. Haha wifeswap is on right now, yes!
