The highlight of my life
Tonight was ridiculously fun. I took my mom to the Youth Pride "Family OUTing." I think she pretty much loved it. There was a screening of Trevor, which she was still talking about after dinner, and I don't know, it was just really fun. She was just being so cool, I didn't even realize she had the ability to be that cool. For example, we were getting cookies and punch and the girl who was serving them was wearing one of the official shirts and my mom was like, "Oh! Your shirt is so cute! Annie, don't you think her shirt is cute? Are they selling those shirts? Where can we get one?!" It was so...cute. And as we were leaving (and she was purchasing me a shirt) she started like, bragging to this guy that one of her sisters is gay and blah blah blah... which just made me laugh. Aw, I love my mom, she's so funny.
