so my plan was to go to the mall to return something, not to make out of the mall like a bandit. i did get some good deals though. damn good deals, suck me in every time.

old navy short belted trench coat
actually got this for a great deal even though it's not marked down online. $32 w/ tax included. the only thing i'm iffy about is that it's not lined and i prefer lined jackets. i guess for the price, i can't complain. the length is perfect. i actually expected it to be too big on me when i saw it on display, but the shoulders fit great... sleeves are a tad too long though. nicely made, crisp cotton (i wonder if it's waterproof?) and metal buttons. i don't think this is one of those jackets that will keep u warm... i've decided to search for a camel peacoat for that.

old navy tank
yay for clearance! got this for 5 bucks... i needed something like this to wear under sheer shirts. i think i'm gonna go back to get a price adjustment this weekend... rumored an additional 50% off clearance items.

old navy girls active pants
look just like this, but full length... i probably will pick up the capri length (pictured) for summer whenever it goes on sale. i needed another pair of pants to just lounge around (and would actually consider leaving the house in these). these are perfect if u're short like me... no hemming needed! i got size l and they go up to xxl. super comfy... and the best part... they make ur butt look good. i was actually quite shocked, esp. for just $5. i was ready to pay full price, $9.50, for them, but they rang up for $4something.

american eagle boybrief
i love these undies. these are usually 4 for $20, but they were on sale for $2. not that i need more underwear, but at least they're my fav cut (nice and low w/ full back coverage... nothing riding up) and i couldn't resist the aubergine + polkadots

cobian nias
imo, these are the best flip flops ever. i had a pair a long time ago, but worn them out and for the longest time, couldn't figure out the brand cuz of the font logo. the straps are very slim, so it doesn't look clunky like most flip flops. of course, they're super comfy... but the best part, the front part (where ur toes are) is not long, which really helps reduce the clunkiness and make it look more stream line. i guess like dressier flip flops if that makes any sense.

roxy cosmetic case
something like this, minus the keychain strap and bigger. i *really* needed something like this for a while now. i usually carry larger bags and it's impossible to find things, so i started using my lil burberry bag in there as a divider. it works, but i wasn't too happy about abusing that lil bag. for the amount i paid for it... it better last me the next ten years. i love the lil heart print. usually the cute ones i do find are white or light colored... this looks like it can take a beating.

i wanted these since last spring and finally found them on zappos in my size. sadly, these are going back. for the price, i didn't love it. it wasn't comfortable, like when u stand... u can feel the bottom of the shoe lol. the front part was really matronly, came up very high on the foot and they just made my feet look big (and i'm a size 5/5.5)

yea, i know it's cork... and i know i say no to cork shoes, but i figured since i already have a wooden wedge pair... maybe cork would be nice to mix it up a bit. ended up ordering these as the replacement. didn't think i would like them at all, but i tried on the green ones from macy*s sales rack... and they actually look good on the feet, surprisingly. of course, being me and my stupid feet, they didn't have any in my size in the black at macy*s on sale. story of my life

coh ava in dark madrid
woohoo... got these for 40% off. straight leg w/ 14" opening. not really as skinny as i would like, but i suppose they'll last longer through the trend and still make my legs look long w/ heels.

coh avedon in dark paris
got these for 25% off, but unfortunately, i had to send them back. these are 13" at the knee and taper to 12" opening. the front looks perfect, like my dream pair of skinny jeans... but the back was awful! i had two lines cutting just under my ass and fabric ripples running down both of my thighs. *sigh* just wasn't meant to be i guess. these look worse than my target jeans for 10x the price

sedu gift set
i'm val, and i'm a sedu converter. geez, now i wish i just forked the money over w/o buying my revlon one first... coulda saved some money. works like a charm on the wavy hair section on the back of my head and stays stick straight. wish i bought this sooner. haha now i'm a believer

mac swan lake eyeshadow from danse
i really like this... been looking for a color like this. it's great for cool tones, like me. it's gray and blue w/ some shimmer... perfect as a wash. the other silvers and grays i have are too dark to be used as a wash. i know u can just use it light hand, but it didn't give me the same effect as swan lake. the shu silver is too white, mac platinum pigment is too flashy and foil-like for day time, and cargo flynt is just a plain, flat gray. it reminds me a lot of mac softwash gray pigment... only w/ gray + blue w/ super fine shimmer, instead of gray + purple with noticeable purple shimmer and cast.
