Stitch Witches Block
Yesterday I ended up at my parents' house waiting for them for a bit whilst they were out. Mum was coming back to help me do some cutting of borders which is what I'll be sewing over the weekend, to bring a couple of projects further towards completion. I'm hoping to have a finished quilt or two to include in my What I Did This Year wrap up at Xmas.
Whilst I waited, I finally finished my mother's block in the Stitch Witches quilting circle. She likes Jinny Beyer and she likes stars so I went with something I've been wanting to try for a while but wasn't sure I had the skills:

And then we cut borders. And worked out what I was going to do for the September block for the Virtually Bequilted circle (oh! Last month? :( ). And then I packed up my car and noticed my tyre was ripped up. Yup. At least I noticed it BEFORE I drove an hour down the freeway.
