Realms Of Fantasy to close
I woke to the news this morning that the April issue of Realms of Fantasy will be the final one for this magazine. In a time of constant bad news in short story SF/F publishing, I feel quite shellshocked about it. I mean, I had a lot of problems with subscribing to this magazine, including actual harassment, and well, I didn't much like most of what they published but RoF is actually my favourite *looking* magazine. I think it's gorgeous. And I am very very sad to see our little corner of the publishing industry being decimated.
