So I've been working on answering this question, which is of course the opposite of simple and straightforward. And of course, I'm lots of people. Or rather, I have lots of facets, colours and shades. What I do know for sure, is that I am not beige ( Read more... )

That is a fabulous icon! And the rest, very interesting to read.

Getting into the spirit, I'm using the only icon I have of myself. Which has its own interesting story/reasoning behind it.

I love the new icon...all very coy and "I have a secret (nyah, nyah)". Excellent job of framing the photos, any time I've tried to take photos of myself (not often, I assure you), I usually chop off my own head.

The one where you have your head on the chopping block...er...computer desk, you look almost Asian (and dead sexy).

Thank you! You know, I deleted about 4 times the number of photos that I kept :-) Yay for digital cameras!

Heh - yes in my lineage we come from a part of Europe that borders Mongolia ... the eyes in my family are very dominant. Something dodgy happened to someone, somewhere ...

The absolute best are the digital SLR cameras like my husband has, it takes 4 shots per second. Brilliant for getting a decent shot of the kids who never stop moving (and then deleting all the rest *heh*).

I used to believe that I had to play the part of 'one of the boys' in order to be accepted by them...
Took me a little bit of growing up to realise that I could never really be accepted, until I was myself.

And also, - lipstick envy! What is it and what shade is it?

I think I am still working on the "being me, as I am" thing.

Lipstick shade .. hmmm ... I pretty much always wear things like burgundy, deep red wine that sort of things so it's one of those. It's some $2 lipstick I bought for my sister's wedding and has been the best colour ever!
