***Wedding Bells will be Ringing***
I went to one a bridal shower today. My best friend all growing up is getting married to this guy that also grew up with us. Well, not technically because he is ten years older than us. They began dating at the beginning of the summer, and I guess it is just right because they are getting married in October. Now I am totally depressed. I am the last one to go. There were four of us that were really close while growing up - we were all in the same ward and everything. Well, I am the only one left. It's not that I am jealous, but there is a twinge of nausea for the simple fact that I am next! There is no one left to get married except me! I feel slightly pressured! :|
Tonight my family went out to dinner at a place in Layton called the Sugar Factory. It is pretty good - all BBQ stuff. Then we stooped at Ream's on the way home. A place that has a lot of western wear. I bought a cute shirt for country swing! It's the latest and greatest thing to do in Ephraim on a Wednesday night. Everyone gets all dressed up and goes to the local pizza parlor. There is a door outside that leads up a flight of stairs and up there is a huge ballroom with a disco ball and all sorts of crazy stuff. Almost everyone on campus shows up and they play country music and we swing and line dance. It really is a fun thing to do when you are sick of studying!
After we stopped I came home, and now I am here, writing in my lj! And tomorrow I will go ahead and drive the two hours back to school! How exciting!
