Anybody know the eljay comm
little_details ? (It's a great writing resource if you don't, I recommend it!) Anyway, I'm scanning the flist when I got home today and saw the subject line from a recent post made there requesting input on a:
"Bad cannon accident"
and I immediately thought "Man, have I read a bunch of those in my time!"
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....aheM. But of course it was, in reality, a correctly-spelled query about an actual, you know, CANNON, an item about which I have no expertise whatsoever. It was suddenly much less interesting. Heh.
I have yet to post my
remixredux09 story on my journal, possibly because I have been working like a madwoman. Need to get on that. Totally different experience than last year, because
this year I was writing for an unknown-to-me fangirl, and
last year for the adored
essenceofmeanin. Out of all of my stories, her J/D remix was the absolute most difficult for me to write, the most pride I've ever felt when it was done...and, the one with the least fb. Heh.
I have many thinky thoughts about the difference in remixing a friend and a stranger, and how that affects both process and product (and, perhaps, the reception they get from the OA as well). But if they ever actually coalesce, it will be in another post. ;)
