Weellll.....this is definitely one of those "be careful what you wish for" times. Hee. When you said "different POV" I'm pretty sure you didn't mean that of an inanimate object, much less FOUR of them.
Originally the plan was for the five weapons in each of your vignettes to tell its own side of the story, but I was having trouble getting a discernible "voice" for the fifth. So I switched the order of your sections and made the fifth where Sam and Dean were in bed, with the weapons kibbitzing about it. PT liked it FAR more than the other sections, and convinced me to expand that part instead. I literally cut 80% of the story and started again! ACK! I figured out that I could tell their stories as one big conversation taking place between all of them, with Sam/Dean first-time as the backdrop.
Your "canon" where Dean cleaning guns gets Sam hot and bothered was the perfect remix material for that format! It gave me a reason for the guns to be strewn around together (partially diassembled, even!) and in a place where they could all be watching Sam and Dean in bed. And the rest is history, as they say...hee!
I'm really glad you liked it. It was pretty risky, and I knew it was something that you and/or others could easily be put off by, given the structure. My thanks for participating, both as a mod, and as someone who got to play with your stuff. :)
HEE, no, I really liked it! My only problem with it was there wasn't enough porn! *coughs* yes, I know I have a problem. It's not my fault!
And I did pick up on where you'd set the fic, and I really liked your take on it. I also like that it was just about the one scene, with the reminiscing about the other times. ♥
OMG. Dude. I still owe my Sweet Charity from FOREVER ago because my Sam/Dean pornfu is so broken. It's a terrible thing. I wanted some porn too! Hee. ;)
