Friday Drive By
Update on the job front... I put my two weeks in and it was very difficult. Thanks for all of your support that day... My last day was last Friday, I took this week off to balance myself and will start the new job on Monday. I am a bit nervous but looking forward to it. Went to my new director's staff meeting on Tuesday and met most of the department already, including the company CIO (who happens to be a woman, totally uncommon in automotive IT) so that helps keep the pre-job jitters down to a minimum.
Sitting here watching the snow fall and snuggling with a couple of kitties and a good book. We are supposed to get up to 10 inches today, but I think the storm front is a couple of miles south of us, so we are not getting hit with the heavy stuff so far.
Almost caught up on the DVD set of Lost: Season 3. Unfortunately, spoiled for the big event at the end of the season. Enjoying it anyway. Even with all its flaws (or peculiarities), it is still one of the most entertaining hours on TV.
