Sick kitty
After getting 4 out of 5 cats tested, wouldn't you know it was the last one who was sick?
We were having trouble getting a urine sample from Emma, the stubborn orange kitty. That should have been the first clue, even though she is the most stubborn, strong-willed cat I have ever seen.
She would not pee in the "special" litter, so we took her in to get a manual sample and she peed on the vet's table. We loaded her up with water from the faucet the next day... and more pee on the vet's table. Overnight, we had cat pee with a large amount of blood in it, so we suspected she was the sick kitty.
We finally got a urine sample from her yesterday - they had to give her an IV and keep her for a few hours. We'll find out later tonight or tomorrow morning what's going on.
