MY trip to Desaru....05 Jul to 06 Jul 2008
Woohoo...had got 2 Weekends out of singapore.....05-06 JUL 2008 was to Desaru with my mum
Excited about this trip to DEsaru man....not becuz can eat durians...its becuz i can get to see FIREFLIES....too bad i cant take photos or videos of them....they are really really really very beautiful......esp in the dark dark mangrove...
We took ferry from Changi Ferry Terminal to the ferry terminal in JB....its abt 30mins....But awaiting to checked in is already a disaster man...the CUSTOMS is so slow lor...12noon the ferry should leave yet we clear customs till 1.30 lor....upon reaching JB ferry terminal and UPON reaching our lunching restaurant its already 2.30pm...gruuuuuuuu i'm so hungry.......

Everything was is a rush for SAT...including lunch, check in at Golden Desaru Beach Resort, goin for dinner at Desaru Fruit Fram.....quite unhappy of the arrangement for dinner....too many pple...too big a group..buffet style....food not really nice....durians not really nice....haizz....but the most exciting part of the nite is to see fireflies...we are the last group to arrive...last group to go watch. FIREFlies....
Riding the raft containing 80pax...we start our journey to watch FIREFLIEs..so excited lor although its abit cold...esp my legs...keke....we went in real deep in order to see....they are like XMAS trees lightining...BLINK BLINK BLINK....so beautiful.....the whole tree was lighted up by them...but not all trees have FIREFLIES...they are only attached to a certain kind of trees....we can bring them back.....they will lose their lifes.....
BUt i managed to catch one cuz the boatman drive the raft real near inorder for us to shake the tree and mae the fireflies fly so that we can catch.....the tail was the one that give out the light.....
Ending the fireflies trip its already 12 midnite...by the time i reach hotel its already 1plus 2am....so tired.....cant wait to slp man.....Have to wake up early the nxt morning....
Sunday....woke up ard 7am....brush up and went to the beach....keke....its so quiet...so peaceful.....watch late sunrise...kaka..but its still beautiful...Had my American Breakfast provided by the Hotel REsort....not really that fantastic...but ok la....

Check out at 9.30 and leave for the Desaru Fruit Farm tour...get to see quite a number of fruits trees...herbs abd we even went to the local farms to see goats, roosters, ducks, tortise, orstrich, goose, owl, eagle, etc etc....juz like goin back to nature...had lunch after tat...and played some games....

Left for the crocodile farm after our lunch...the sudden rain really sadden me man....tot cannot go see le but luckily the rain become small so we took umbrella and walked under the rain to see the crocodiles.....
Got an interesting find out.....a crocodile w/o tail.....its natural de...not being beaten away....juz like we human tere is a defect....1 most BRAVE thing i done is to carry a BABY crocodile..the skin is so cold.......pple will say aiya BABY wan ma scared wat....but i'm really scared lor....but yet i still complete my mission...keke...overcome the fear but cuz not go sit on the BIG crocodile BACk la...tats out of the way man

Had tea time back and the fruit farm.....and make our way back ard evening....although the food on the first day dun really taste good...but the second day food was nice....lunch had a variety of buffet....high tea we have mee rebus....wahhh...not forgetting varieties of fruits...like fruits buffet leh...

The one in Yellow Tee is our Tour Leader...Thomas...The other one is the guy standng right to the end wearing a tag...he is HMC...Both of them are nice and funny...
BOUGHT quite a number of fruit chips back and fresh fruits of cuz like soursoup, guava.....Had 2 very interesting TEam leaders from the agency who are really friendly young chaps...one really make us laugh till drop cuz pple always think that he is overaged...both of them entertain us by singing...Cao Ge's songsssss.......toking craps...haha...
Although its tired but still had fun durin the 2D1N trip....
