I dunno what games you have / have tried, but I recently fell head-first into Fallout 3, and I haven't even wanted to get up since. They're truly amazing games, and the recent Fallout: New Vegas sequel-thing is also quite awesome, though I just got it yesterday and haven't played much of it. :P

Resonance of Fate is also really fun, but the battle system takes a lot of getting used to. Admittedly, I haven't played in ages cos I got stuck on a battle I can't seem to win. :\ probably because I suck at the battle system, ugh.

I second Fallout 3 even though I personally haven't played it. My little brother is in love with the game so I watch him play it...a lot

For Xbox 360 FPS's, I'd recommend the Bioshock games (they also have a new one coming out next year which looks amazing) and the Mass Effect games.

Dragon Age IS for X360. I'm confused. XD Seconding Bioshock and Mass Effect like whoa.

If you like trying out indie games, you should give Minecraft a try. World building and survival game, and it looks like it runs on Mac. =)
