In which Cat goes shopping.
Since when do stores that are supposed to be 14+ start to carry size 12?!? WTF? Not only that, but the racks are filled with these size 12s while the bigger sizes are fewer in number. I'm not clear on whether this is because they a) ordered to many (Never mind why they exist in the first place) or b) aren't being bought because, hey! PLUS SIZE STORE.
In other news, I apparently went down a pant size and made some excellent lemon poppyseed muffins to round the day out. Butternut almond capelletti and asparagus spears for dinner...mmmmyum.
ETA (I always forget about this stuff): I saw The L Word doing some filming. At the train tracks with some passenger cars marked Illinois. Didn't see any of the cast though. Too far/too small/just weren't there? Who knows.
