It's over, our short skiing vacation. Or stuff us packed and the car dug out from under loads and loads of snow.
Skiing was a real challenge in the fog and snowfall. And the higher up on the mountain we went, the worse it got until visibility was almost zero. Then, skiing becomes really difficult because all you see is white on white. White snowflakes in front white-greyish clouds. And in the dim light, there isn't enough contrast to see the ground right in front of you. Which is undesirable cause you no longer know whether it's a layer of freshly fallen snow or pure ice or heaps of snow and ice or... All my strength was spent after only two or three hours.
Now, all that is left is to set out the best course for our way home. The pass we initially wanted to take is closed for all vehicles without snow chains, but there's another one that might be open. Hopefully, cause I'm not in the mood to take the long way over Germany.
