One Down

Well, Maymester ended today. I think I pulled off a B in the class unless I completely aced my final. It's not that I'm a moron (obviously) but you know how subjective essay exams can be. I've been averaging 90s on the quizzes and I got one B+ and one A- on the papers so I guess we'll see how things come out. First short session starts tomorrow and so I guess that means I will become well-versed in the art of ethics in one month. I could use some ethics.

I'm going home this weekend b/c Mom is doing this familly day at the Braves' game with her company and so since I'm family, she invited me. I'm so excited b/c it'll be my first game this season. Since I'll be home, I'll be cooking and if you like me to save you some cookies, let me know. And if you're a buddy from Marietta and you need something from home, let me know that too.

I'm thinking about going to law school. Dr. Chandler thinks I'm too verbal and smart to just be a teacher (which is pretty flattering in itself considering how accomplished she is), and she suggested one of the law schools in Atlanta while I teach and earn some money (b/c I can't just stay in school forever). Speaking of money, I started a job as one of the copy editors for the Red and Black this week. They're actually paying me for being able to spell and construct sentences. It's nice to be able to use my skills for money (yes, I realize the innuendos you can deduce).
