I remember you saying in your last post about this story, something about Em coming back during Lucky's addiction to pain killers. You want her to feel virtually alone (w/the exception of Lo and to apoint Skye.) I think if you have the Lucky Intervention what better surprise and wake up call for Lucky then to have his best friend Emily (unbeknownst by anyone) waltz right in.

Jason & Sam are cool, I like them together.
Ric & Alexis, yeah, but that'll be tough if you have Sam and Ric sleep together.
Lucky & Liz...See, I woudlnt mind them, but as I was reading who Em should be paired with, I was thinking Lucky. Especially if she does help Lucky like I think she could. Therefore, do a mixture,- like you said- some things are fine, others not so much. I'd say have Lucky know about Liz & Jason, being as Liz knows about him and Maxie (if you keep that, that is.)
Who Should Em Be With -
Em and Sonny - I guess there was a big following in that couple...I just couldn't go with ti. I couldn't picture Em with him, and when I first read of the rumor/then spoiler, I wanted to gag. Even though NL had now been in teh role of Em for a few years, it was just wrong ot me tha tEm would get together with Sonny, who she's known for many yearhs, who was also about twice+ her age. It seriously grossed meout lol. And considering the way GH writes now a days....yeah... But it's your story, so I can't really tell ya who to put Em with. Though I woudn't mind a very strong Em/Sonny Friendship :)
(Yet I don't mind it in TRLT b/c I still think Em's hiding stuff, and as far as I'm concerned it's still a ruse in her part, but I think that's slowly changing, which from the way you're writing it isn't bad lol) :)
How Angry Do We Want Our Girl To Be -
She's definitely bitter, that's for sure. "the convo I mention with Sonny about, it ends with him thinking that she's beginning to act very much as he has acted over the years" - Keep that, that sounds like it would be really good! :)
Emily could have a strong friendship w/Lo too, but i think both lo and sonny would see her trying to play both sides, which I dont htink would happen. I dont think I could see (w/the exception of TRLT - though she's undercover) Em really getting involved in the mob voluntarily. (I still have AT's Em's mentality, so maybe that's not what you're going for.) Keep the anger of course. She has every right to be angry especially at the crap that happened when she was away learning to walk again. (If it has anything to do with Zander, then Em has a gripe with Liz, I'm sure.) If not Zander, then she feels abandoned - because lets face it, no one went to visit her while she was away. Last I heard (when Em was away at th etime, Nikolas was th elast to speak to her on the phone - hopefully that wansn't part of a fic I read.) Yet when Em got home on the show (b/c she was worried about her cancer, she wasn't mad at anyone)
Breathe Christy lol You're going to do great, and I know I'm gonna like this fic, no matter how you write it, and no matter whom Em ends up w/etc. :)
