The wind changed.
Yesterday was such a fucking rollercoaster. One minute I was right there at rock bottom, and then good things happened. I got reminded that I'm a lucky, lucky girl, surrounded by amazing, truly wonderful people. Yes, someone stepped in and saved me from the impending disaster and even though it's a temporary fix only, it's long-term enough to let me kick the right people in the balls and get everything back on track. This isn't even about my monetary situation although that's in there, too. Some people in the know are aware of what I'm talking about. Anyway. It's all okay right now. Thank god. I don't know how I managed not to hit the bottle last night, because even though I knew by 6pm that it was going to be fine my nerves were totally shot to hell.
And I'm going to see The Used and 30 Seconds To Mars at the Gibson Theater tomorrow night, courtesy of a very connected friend who happened to score two tickets at the last minute. *sigh* Feeling very lucky right now, which is a very welcome change for sure.
