I thought we agreed supernova was a bad thing?
Last night, I decided to switch off for a night of mindless fun and go see Fantastic Four. I wasn't expecting much because I read all of the initial drafts of the script and had read a lot of really negative reviews. While I can see why the critics didn't love it, I don't know what the hell they were bitching about. F4 was never going to be dark, dramatic material like Batman Begins seeing as it's based on comic books that were always very comedic and goofy. Sure, the writing was very weak, there were some big plot holes and a list of things I would have changed... But overall, I enjoyed the movie. It was as good as the original X-Men which had tons of problems.. and the action was definitely a lot better. For me, F4 was far better than Star Wars: Revenge of The Sith. I didn't expect anything of it, and it pleasantly surprised me. Maybe I'm crazy, but there it is. :)
