(no subject)
Hi from the other side. After my beginning of summer celebrations ended, my summer began. Firstly, I won a bet with Kyle over who would score higher on the interpersonal communications final and so he had to pay for my lunch at On The Border. I have tasted victory, and let me tell you...it tastes like chips and salsa. That's all I can say.
Next I had resume writing day, with said friend Kyle. The best part was it was all business (we wrote resumes) but it was also summery (we walked down to the beach and played smashball.) Except for a brief dressing-up-as-royalty stint at the end of the night. I don't know what happened there, okay.
And today...TODAY I had kind of a job interview at this children's gym slash birthday party place, kind of like Gymboree. I brought my new resume and everything, and dressed up very business-like, but not too business-like cause it is a kids' birthday party place after all, and went to observe how the birthday parties are run. AND I GOT HIRED. I am so excited about this! It's my first real job and everything! And I got it all on my own and now I will be an employee! Plus it will be totally fun playing ring around the rosie with a bunch of two-year-olds, rather than working in a store at a cash register or pushing carts or building pyramids or something.
After that I spent about six hours volunteering for Kitten Rescue, which I might not get to help with anymore because my job will be on the weekends, so that's sad. But the point is, after that, and then going to Micaela's hawt brother's birthday party, I'm so tired I think I might pass out....now...4eiwtjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj
