Summary: Junsu, the barista, just wanted to know the real name of the regular customer, who kept giving different names. And Junsu hoped to find out and gain something from it.
AN: Story was inspired when I used different names whenever I ordered from the same guy in Starbucks. It was just so funny when I saw his reaction and thought of making it into a Yoosu story.

“Good afternoon! Welcome to Starbucks!”

Junsu greeted the newcomer without looking up from the counter when he heard the door chimed. He hurriedly closed the drawer of the cash register before turning his full attention to serve the newcomer. When he saw the customer, he slightly gawked at the sight in front of him.

He was handsome. Naturally handsome that he felt there was nothing comparable to his appealing features. He was tall, fair built with broad shoulders, full lips waiting to be devoured ravishingly, inviting brown orbs that can make you feel like drowning into his soul…and before Junsu could further embarrass himself with his gawking, he cleared his throat and opened his mouth to speak.

“Good afternoon sir, can I have your order?”

The man in front of him slightly smirked, his eyes twinkling playfully. He had caught the barista checking him out.

“I’ll have a grande hot cappuccino with extra shot please,” the customer replied, staring intently at the barista.

Junsu could feel his cheeks getting warmer, he shifted his eyes around and he grabbed the tall cup and started writing his order on it.

“Can I have your name for the cup…” Junsu said and frowned when he hadn’t heard the customer reply.

“Sir?” Junsu looked up at him from the cup.

“Micky.”

Junsu nibbled on his lower lip, trying to stop himself from trying out the name on his lips.

He hastily wrote the name on the cup and punched in the order on the cash register.

“Is that all?” Junsu asked.

“Yes.” And he handed Junsu the money to pay and Junsu accepted it, his fingers nearly brushing the other’s fingers, sending slight jolts.

The other man didn’t miss the jolts and he quickly retracted his hand. The blushing barista handed him the receipt and left the counter to prepare his drink.

Junsu quickly made the cappuccino, not forgetting to add the extra expresso shots. When he was done, he called out when he found the customer waiting patiently by the table.

“Grande cappuccino with extra shot for Micky!” Junsu called out and watched the said man approach.

“Here you go sir,” Junsu shyly smiled as he handed the cup with a few tissue along with it.

“Thank you,” he smiled in returned and left.

“I hope to see you again…” Junsu whispered softly to himself as he watched the customer leave the store.

The next day, Junsu was surprised to see him again when he heard the door chimed and looked up.

“Good afternoon sir, can I have your order?” Junsu greeted with a bright smile.

He nodded his head in a friendly gesture with a small smile on his face, “I’ll have a grande hot cappuccino,” he replied.

“No extra shot sir?”

He shook his head, “not today.”

“Name for the cup please?” Junsu asked even though he already knew. He just wanted to hear him say it.

“Yeokchun.”

Junsu frowned, “Yeokchun…wasn’t it Micky sir?” he questioned.

“I can use any name I want,” the customer teased.

“Ah right…is that all?” Junsu asked, feeling slightly frustrated and irritated because he didn’t want to be fooled.

“Yes,” and handed Junsu the money. Junsu gave him back the change and went to prepare the drink.

‘Micky? Yeokchun? Could it be his English name?’ Junsu wondered.

“Grande hot cappuccino for Yeokchun!” Junsu called out and watched him approach.

“Here you go sir,” Junsu said as he handed the cup to him.

“Thank you,” the customer said and turned around to leave.

“Come again!” He yelled after him.

The customer glanced behind his shoulder and smirked, “I will!” he said and left.

Junsu blushed, knowing that he was not discreet with his infatuation towards the customer.

“A customer was looking for you yesterday,” his co-worker, Changmin, stated when Junsu arrived at work for the afternoon shift.

“Really? Who?” Junsu asked while he put on his apron and tied it behind him.

“Junchun,” Changmin replied.

"Junchun? I don't know a Junchun...wait. What did he order?" Junsu asked.

"Hmmm...I think it was a cappuccino,"

Junsu chuckled and shook his head with amusement, "I think I know now."

"Really? Who's he?"

"A regular customer who uses different names. I don't think he gave out his real name. And he's...hot."

"Glad you think I am hot," Junsu and Changmin spun around when they heard a voice at the counter.

How they didn't hear his arrival, they don't know. "Ah si-sir...good afternoon," Junsu stuttered with embarrassment. Changmin raised his brows as he watched his friend act like a shy high school girl in front of a crush. Changmin smirked and decided to leave Junsu alone.

"Changmin? Where...?" Junsu fumbled with his words when he realized Changmin was leaving him alone.

"Do your job, I got something to do," Changmin stuck his tongue out and went into the kitchen.

"That brat...I'll make him suffer," Junsu mumbled under his breath before he turned his attention to the customer.

"May I have your order sir?" Junsu asked, willing his embarrassment and shyness to disappear.

"The usual," he smiled.

"Grande hot cappuccino?" Junsu said.

"Yes, with extra shot."

Junsu grabbed the cup and wrote the order on it.

"Name for the cup please," he asked, ready to hear what the customer would give.

"Yoosu,"

Junsu chuckled, "Yoosu then," he wrote the name on the cup and punched in the order.

"You weren't here yesterday," the customer said when he gave the money.

"It was my day off sir," Junsu said as he handed back the change along with the receipt.

"Ah. Every Wednesday?"

Junsu tilted his head, "I...for this month, yes and Sundays. Why do you ask, sir?"

"Nothing, just curious," he gave Junsu a playful smile.

"Uh...right," Junsu said and went to prepare the drink.

"Grande cappuccino for Yoosu!" Junsu called out after he was done and as usual, the customer approached and took his drink.

"See you tomorrow, Junsu," the customer winked at him and left.

"Wha-at? How did he know my name? It's not fair that I don't know his!" Junsu grunted as he entered the kitchen.

"Dude, you're wearing a nametag. Duh." Changmin rolled his eyes as he licked off the fork.

Junsu glanced down on his apron, where his nametag was pinned. "Right. Stupid me...wait Changmin?! What are you doing?" Junsu yelled when he watched Changmin ate another bite.

"Eating, what else?" Changmin replied while chewing.

"I know you're eating but WHY are you eating the glazed donut?"

Changmin shrugged on his shoulder, "I'm paying for it, no worry and plus it's not the first time," he said.

"Does manager know?"

"Yes, Jaejoong hyung knows and he always let me off, as long as I pay," Changmin grinned.

The customer came back for the next three weeks during mid-afternoons. As much as Junsu enjoyed seeing him, he was starting to get weary of the different names the customer provided. Some of the names were repeated when he couldn't think of any.

“Name for the cup sir?” Junsu took a deep breath while he waited.

“Yooju.”

“Don’t you ever run out of names?” Junsu questioned while he wrote a new name on the cup.

“Almost running out though,” the customer chuckled.

“Really? Are they only limited to a few characters you have mentioned?”

“Yes,” the customer smiled, amused that the barista was observant.

“But seriously sir, I know it is none of my business but excuse me for asking. What brought you to...make up different names when it is much easier for you to use your real name? I would understand that maybe it is just for fun…but you are a regular here and perhaps I thought I could get acquainted with…you, sir,” Junsu said, feeling bold and courageous for saying what he had wanted to say a week ago.

The customer stared at him for a few seconds before smiling and nodding his head, “I’ll give you a challenge, do you think you’re up for it?”

“Do I gain anything from it?”

“That depends. If you got it right by Saturday, you can, by all means, ask anything from me. If you lose, then I’ll keep coming up with more names.”

“What do I have to do?” Junsu asked, looking very interested.

“You have to find out which one is my real name,” the customer smirked.

“What? One of the names was your real name?” Junsu gaped.

“Yes. Think you can do it?”

Junsu bit on his lower lip and took a deep breath, “okay. You’re on.”

“What are you doing?”

Junsu jerked his head up and glanced at the clock, checking if his break was over. He let out a sigh when he realized he has two more minutes left.

“Ah Jaejoong hyung. Just writing something…” he said when he glanced down on the notebook where he listed down the names he could remember.

“Are these…names?” Jaejoong frowned as he looked at it.

“Yes,” Junsu shrugged.

“You looked…worried?” Jaejoong frowned, noticing his distressed appearance.

“It’s just…there is a regular and it’s been over three weeks. He keeps giving out different names and he knew that I am…attracted to him. He gave me a challenge and I have to find out which one is his real name,” Junsu explained.

Jaejoong raised his brows at him, “just like that?”

“Well…If I got it right, I can ask something from him.”

“Really? If you do, what are you planning to do?” Jaejoong asked.

“Ask him out,” Junsu grinned.

It was the night before Saturday and Junsu was starting to get frustrated. He stared intently at the paper with the list of names. He’s been trying to find out which among the names was the real name and he had no clue at all.

"Maybe I should list the names according to the same characters..." Junsu mumbled while he chewed the end of his pen.

He wrote the names down again, listed under different characters. He studied them for awhile until he realized something odd.

"He even added my name! Why didn't I realize this?!" Junsu gasped. "You are such a...tease!"

Eventually he got somewhere. He crossed out the names that either has any of his characters and he was down to half of the names.

"Yeokchun...Yoohwan...Mikchun...Yoomi...nah, that sounds like a girl name," Junsu crossed it out and other names that are for females.

"Micky...Ricky...yiesh. Better cross them out." And there was more progress after he crossed out the names that has either Mi or Ri.

And he was down to four names. Chunyoo, Yoochun, Yoohwan and Yeokchun.

"I think I know now," Junsu smiled as he encircled it.

It was finally Saturday around three in the afternoon when the door chimed.

"Good afternoon, welcome to Starbucks!"

"Hello Junsu," the customer greeted with a smile.

"Hello sir," Junsu smiled back.

"I hope you didn't forget about the challenge?" He asked.

"Of course not. The usual order sir?"

"Yes please."

"And the name for your cup?" Junsu asked.

The customer tilted his head, "I think you should know by now," he said.

Junsu glanced at him, "I already do," he smiled and wrote the name on the cup.

"Really?"

"Yes."

"What?"

Junsu showed the cup to him and the customer glanced at it. Junsu watched him until their eyes met.

Junsu smiled widely at him, "Would you like to go out with me tomorrow, Yoochun?"

And Yoochun chuckled softly with a smile on his face, "I would love to."
