I've been browsing books on Amazon.com, because I always need more books and I've pretty much exhausted the available Voyager novels. I'm looking for something cheesy yet well-written to read, and I'm not sure how to find that on Amazon. Basically, I want to read Robin McKinley's "Sunshine" for the first time.

Okay, so, I heard that in books three and four of the Twilight series, Bella is caught in a cruel love triangle between a vampire and a werewolf. Oh, hmm, where have a I read that before? A blatant self-insertion protagonist must decide between an irritating werewolf and an irritating but somewhat better looking vampire. Only, this time, there's no zombie, werecat strippers, or lavish descriptions of remarkably unsexy BDSM sex.

I'm sort of glad I wasn't thirteen when Twilight came out, or I might have adored it and ignored how truly awful it was. It could have been a gateway book to stupider things, like writing The Crow fanfic, or loveletters to a skinny goth boy three states away. Oh, wait...

In seriousness, I think LKH might have been a better writer than Stephenie Meyer. I wouldn't know for sure, because I stopped reading LKH when it all dissolved into frilly vampire porn woven around thin, porny plots. There is just no call for a 500 page PWP.

Okay, guys, what should I order off Amazon?
