Wow, it's been a long time since I came here! I'm reposting something from my other blog because I want to increase my chances of getting meaningful input. The title of my other blog post, oddly enough, is "Input." Here it is:
I think I just got a side job as an music journalist. Joining the ranks of the unpaid moonlighting losers! I applied to this gig that I ran across when dreaming that I could ever convince Nathan to let me hire a maid and thought it would be a laugh to apply. Then the guy actually emailed me back and we had a long and sort of awkward conversation about his website's goals and whatnot. I'm pretty sure that I'm on, probably on a trial basis. I get one (and possibly another) free press pass just like all the other critics out there. I don't need free admission, but it is amusing and it will make me more likely to go see shows that I would never go see otherwise (Cherry Poppin Daddies, anyone?).
My problem is that he wants me to come up with at least three themes for him that I would be willing and able to write about on a recurring basis. When we talked, he got a feel for what's important to me and he suggested concert etiquette. That's something I could certainly write a small and humorous blurb about off and on. But now I'm stumped. It's not something I would have ever suggested myself, but I can't get my mind off it long enough to think of something else. So I turn to my faithful blog readers. What theme would you find interesting enough to read on a recurring basis?
