Glenn was supposed to have me fly her back to him in Seattle over 2 years ago, but as is usual with Glenn, he never called to get her. Glenn has a major mental episode 4 months after moving to FL and I could not deal with his emotional state. After much fighting, discussion and the final realization that our so called relationship was not working, he moved back to Seattle. I have not heard a word from him in over 2 years now. I do often wonder if he is still alive, working and being a productive member of society. But on the flip side, he fucked me over so bad from a financial standpoint that I really don't care what his life is like anymore.
I have been dating a wonderful guy for the past year and it is the perfect relationship. Brad owns his own house and has his own life. We see each other almost daily and the best part is that he does not sleep over nor do I sleep over at his house. A year now and things are still going strong! I know I don't want to be married again and neither does Brad. Neither of us was to be "serious" so we keep things fun and casual. It is a nice departure from the old ways of dating! Fun and casual is the only way to go for me.
I can relate to that financial issue, too. I'm glad that Alex is with you, though. I'm sure she's happy there. I wish I could have my kitties here, but there is just no way it is going to happen.
I'm so glad you found a great guy! I think that relationships work better when you have two separate houses. That's sad, isn't it? LOL. I don't know that I ever want to be married again, either, after what I went through. I was so miserable. The happiest times of my life were when I was single and just dating and not having serious relationships. I think you're right about that!
