it's really beautiful, but is there by chance anything else i should set (or avoid) that you failed to mention? because on my journal the title/comments format doesn't show and it's badly aligned.

I can't see what is going on with it. Have you changed the layout from Smooth sailing to Flexible squares? I sometimes forget and then it ends up looking crazy.
