Question: If someone says they'll be in at time X and you have something to pick up from them, does that mean they want you to pick it up at time X (my view) or just means they'll be around at time X so if you want you can pick it up then ( Read more... )

I'm with you - if someone says they'll be around, unless there's a good reason, you go then. If you can't, you call and arrange a firm time when you CAN go. I do a lot of Freecyclign and it drives me mad whern people won't set a time, makes me wish I hadn't offered them the stuff.

I usually check a time frame, and let them know how likely it is that I'll make it within that time frame. So if I'm hoping to pop by while they're in that day but might not make it, they know that, and if I'll definitely be there as soon as I can or at a specific time, they know that too.
