Nikita!!!!!!!!
I didn't know it was a new episode and then there it was! ON MY TELEVISION. AND LO, IT WAS GLORIOUS.
I am SO EXCITED that Nikita and Alex are back on the same side. I am also SO EXCITED that the boys are bonding in a masculine way. "Don't take this the wrong way, but I wish you were back on the regimen." "You do? So do I."
I actually really like the reveal about Alex's mom, if only because Alex's picture perfect life had to burst at some point. Although, it makes NO SENSE that if she was part of the deal, Percy would put her on the target list and that they'd bother having a fake radio signal that she'd been killed. It makes sense that maybe they'd fake her death, but the other stuff... not so much.
I loved seeing Nikita on top of her game even as she's clearly kind of losing it internally. When she has a goal, she's 100% goal oriented, 100% on task. When she has time to herself, time by herself, it's too much and she starts realizing that she feels like she's drowning. Especially with Michael so far away.
Which, by the way, I love that Michael had no idea he couldn't just put Nikita on ice and deal with it later. And that he thought Owen's "someone will decide for you" was a "I'll fuck your girlfriend" instead of the "NIKITA WILL GET HERSELF KILLED, YOU JACKWAD" it clearly was.
Anyway. I have all the love for this show. I'd forgotten how awesome it was.
