Anyone else watch Legend of the Seeker?

Please tell me I'm not alone here.

I saw it. The one with Ian McShane, right?

No. :( Ian McShane would look at this show and laugh. And then possibly fire his agent.

This is like Xena or Hercules.

Ah -- I am thinking of the movie that came out last year, sometime or other. *nod*

You're not alone. *facepalm*

It's been years since I read the books, but I can still tell the liberties they're taking are hilarious. And yet--so much slow motion glistening man candy! So much gleaming cleavage and silliness!

It's so awesome! I can't get over how completely random and bad it is, while at the same time being so fun to watch! And I actually like the chemistry between the two leads.

It really is so bad. And yet--so entertaining! The two leads' chemistry really saves a lot. And I'm pleased by how equal opportunity the sexual exploitation has been. Ogling for everyone!

Uh, dude, it's set in New Zealand & is totally a cheesetastic mix of Xena & Herc. What's not to love? Also, hello, icon *points*!

Yis. Half naked hot men and the busty kick ass women who love them.

I totally admit to how easy I am to please. Cheese + hot + kicking ass = happy.

I watched the first four or five, then realized it wasn't doing anything for me, and stopped. But I also never watched Xena or Hercules.

Yeah. I mean, I don't hunt it down, but it's such camp that I have to love it? Because unlike shows that take themselves seriously but are really bad despite that, this takes the corniness and runs with it.

You are not alone! I adore this show, especially the episodes when he takes his shirt off.

I KNOW. I'm like, "Plot, whatever. More naked!"

And I love that they know how camp their show is and clearly enjoy doing it anyway.
