You almost need two separate polls, one for the monster-of-the-week storyline, (I'd give it an 8 - creepy girl was creepy), and one for the totally repetitive and unconnected tag (I'd give it a 2). I averaged these out at 5 for the poll, but that doesn't really express the complexity of my emotions...
I didn't really hate it -- there wasn't enough to it to hate. I just thought it was utterly pointless. A rehash of the Benders, except the writing was far worse and the plot made no sense (feral humans living in the walls who speak can read and write English, know about slashing tires and popping trunks, and apparently have superhuman speed and strength? What?), but I could live with that, because SPN has a long grand tradition of sucky MotWs

Agreed with most everyone else. The main plot of the episode was fine enough -- a decent, creepy, if not quite sense-making MotW. But it was bookended by these clunky emotional tags that were written with a fifth graders understanding of drama. This is the third time now that Dean has boohooed into the camera for no particular reason(as in, why did he chose those times to open up? I know WHY he's upset, that's not it. Of course he'd be upset. But why does it constantly wait until the last five minutes of the ep to pontifice about being sad? At this point Sam isn't even ASKING Dean to talk, Dean just has a lot of feelings about things. Like a junior high girl). It was tired the first time.

By the way, it'd be nice if y'all would stop rehashing the "OH NOES IS SAM GONNA GO DARK SIDE?" plot from season 2. Okay? Okay. Thanks, Kripke.
