Oh. Oh. Oh. This was fantastic. Bittersweet to be sure, but laced with an appreciation of Martha's gift to be able to cope. I love the little glimpses into how her family is managing, how she's closer to them despite being so far away. There are little bits that just get me in the gut - Jack appreciating the ability to scar, bonding with Ronon, Martha's new found appreciation for fruit - gah, in the end I'd just be listing the entire fic. Either way, just wow. Awesome.

It was pretty hard for me to write, because I knew that Martha would survive and flourish on her own, but she'd also have to be so damaged by her experiences that it couldn't be ignored.

That was great. Loved seeing Martha again and the effect of her travels and the Doctor on her. Normally you don't think of her as being damaged but she remembers it all so she should be.

Wow...I think I'm in love with the idea of Martha Jones in Atlantis now. Pitch perfect characterization for all three shows and so very bittersweet. I love this.
