Happy Days?
So here we are back at Hogwarts, again. Hopefully for myself I won't be returning for an "eighth year" I overheard mum and dad talking about it and dad thinks that its decidedly fishy that the entire year failed their NEWTs or did so badly that they wouldn't be employed with the NEWTs they got. I think its weird too, hopefully it will be sorted out by the time i have to sit my exams. Still, there are some benefits, i'm not as lonely as i thought i would be - Hermione, Ron and Harry are here and so is Maghnus...which is great because as predicted Mother wouldn't let me go and stay with him at the end of the holidays, which was very unfair. Thanks for your letter Tonks, but mum had already made up her mind, one mention of "you know who" (not THAT you-know-who though) and she decided that there was no way on earth i was even leaving the house, just as well i'm back at school, at least i can walk outside in the fresh air without being watched constantly to make sure i'm not abducted!
Classes are ok, Kit sat with me in Ancient runes and he's HEADBOY! I can't believe he didn't tell me! He said he didn't find out til late in the holidays and then was so shocked didn't owl, but WOW, how cool is that? Professor Erikksson is setting us another series of projects luckily we can choose our partners, so Kit and I have decided to work together, just as well because everyone else had already paired up. Can't wait til my first DADA lesson, it will be weird being taught by Tonks, but good - i'll just have to remember she's a Professor now :-)
Have to find out when Quidditch practices will be, don't even know if Harry is still Captain or who is doing what, its very odd, the Eigth years aren't prefects and the new headboy was chosen from the 7th years...weird, still i'm sure things will sort themselves out later.
