(no subject)
today was awesome and i REALLY want to go to UMW now more than ever.
my dad and i drove the 2.5 hours up there this morning and at 11 we went on the guided tour again. it was way different than when i went up this summer. people everywhere; i felt like i was home. we got to go into the most popular freshman dorm, alvey hall, and i got to see what the rooms looked like furnished and lived in. after the tour ended, my dad and i met up with andi and her dad and we went to eat lunch in the dining hall. ohhh man. that was awesome. after lunch, we went over to trinkle hall, the education building, where i got to sit in on a few minutes of an elementary education class and i talked to a student in the elem. edu. program. i want to major in elementary education, so that was perfect. :) then we walked over to combs hall where we were supposed to meet with the english department head lady, but she wasn't in when we got there. after that, it was over to monroe hall to sit in on a history class taught by one of andi's grandfather's friends. it seemed like a fun class, and even in the 30 minutes i was sitting in there, i learned something. cool. once we left that class, it was off to home. wooo another 3 hour car ride. but i swear, it was totally worth it. i really hope i get in there. wish me luck!
ps. TOMORROW IS FRIDAY. TOMORROW AUSTIN COMES HOME. TOMORROW I GET TO SEE HIM FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 2 MONTHS!!!
