what a day!
i love love love pumpkin moon so much...1950's kitschy replica toys, wind up sushi and monkeys that do flips, angelique tattoo flash housewares & collectibles, vintage postcards, etc... THE go-to source for all birthday shopping :):) even got small pins for $2.50 for us: a yellow mascara & a sailor jerry panther.
we then went up to the northside to go hat shopping for chente at both belmont army & navy surpluses: i really hate myself for needing the ones i make so much fun of!! and the fred perry polo i got for 40bux two weeks ago is now only 10! liked some cute stuff at one the vintage floor, but i think i'll take my chances and find goodwill shirts on my own and save on that $15 finder's fee upcharge! also went to the wicker park reckless and got awesome rekkids! my 45 arsenal is growing slowly :)
although it was bitterly cold, i had fun...and now am laying in bed under utterly lovely thomas o'brien houndstooth blankies with a tummy full of mint chocolate chip ice cream!! i like how tonight turned out, it seemed such a frantic mess a few days ago, deciding to either go to a friend's night at a bar or the cd release for Mike...but after yet another 50 hour work week, my body is totally relishing in blankey time!

obviously not the hot items they expected so i think its safe to wait
the tie dye shirts with the shredded sleeves, flying off the shelves though...
