I was in a very bad position to read this story; I don't really know One Direction and I've never seen Back to the Future. Nevertheless, I did enjoy reading this story, because you can turn a phrase so beautifully. You have a very gentle, understated way of writing - long, fluid sentences. It seems to fit with Harry's character (well, your interpretation of him, anyway, since I know nothing about the real one!) and highlights the contrast with Alex. A lot of his dialogue is in sentence fragments - completely the opposite to the narrative. So yeah, I liked that.

I'll be honest - it was quite easy to see that you're American (for example, when they went back to the fifties, you didn't specify America and it was the most American thing ever!) and you've also got quite a few typos in there (check for spelling Alex's name without the final x in particular) but overall it was a really lovely story. Very atmospheric, and Harry was really quite adorable. Maybe I'll have to wander over to bandom some time...
