The deed is done! The task complete! The...okay...I'll stop there. What I'm trying to say is:
I FINISHED MY HISTORY EXAM!
*phew* It feels good to yell that. Here are a few lessons that I would like to pass on:
1. Do not, under any circumstances, no matter how tired you are while you're studying, drink caffeine the night before the exam. Combine that with adrenaline, and it just might keep you up until 4:30am which can be very unpleasant when you have to be up by 7:30.
2. When trying to get into the college for the exam, do not follow a stranger (no matter how nice he may be) to the back doors. Even if he claims that he "always gets in that way", it's a dead end.
3. Make sure that when you're standing in line to register, you're not standing in the line for burgeoning lacrosse referees. (A good way to avoid this mistake is to take your nose out of your book and notice that (a) everyone in the line is male (b) they all still have high squeaky voices and their mothers are close by.)
4. When you are then asking (in a panic because your exam has already started) where the information booth is, try looking up. You just might see the word 'Information' in bold blue letters across the wall in front of you, with a handy arrow pointing directly to the booth.
Just some handy little tips. You know...general information that people should be aware of. ;-)
So my morning experience wasn't the greatest. But it's finished. And now the countdown really begins: 14 days.
