I have some exciting news of my own, too! I am moving out in two weeks! I'm pretty excited. Mekelle got kicked out of her place by her neighbours for being too loud (haha) & her room mate has been having trouble finding someone to replace her. I had mentioned that I was thinking of moving out so they asked me if I was interested & I figured I can afford it so why not! It's in Brunswick & I'll be living with an American (a San Franciscan, I think). So exciting (& somewhat scary)!
VAN THAT IS AMAZING NEWS!!! HOW EXCITING! That is so awesome, congrats congrats :D Seriously, are you just dying of excitement haha? How is your family taking the news?
Thank you - re: my blog (which um I still kind of am yet to update ....) and the lit stuff. Yeah, I'm pretty happy as things kind of seem to be slowly falling into place. Did you hear anything about the WV job?
And my b'day - yeah it was alright. I always feel weird/awkward on my b'day so I'm kind of not really into celebrating (the actual day ... if that makes sense). Whip It was really good and then my fam went out for dinner and got ice-cream cake at home hehe. Oh and I got the Louis Theroux box set so I'm super happy, and some money which I'll be putting toward my laptop (which hopefully I'll get this weekend, so I can be all writerly now haha)
I'm super super excited but pretty nervous/scared/sad at the same time! My family were pretty cool. Mum & Dad pretty much said "if you think you can afford it, go for it". Although Mum did ask me today whether they had done anything to make me want to move out which was so :(. And everybody has said "omg can I use your room for a library/study/guest room/second bedroom?!" which also made me :(. But the house I'm moving to is really awesome and I already know the person I'm going to be living with so it will be cool. Although weird since it will take me a while to stop thinking of it as Mekelle's house, haha. You will have to come for a visit once I'm settled in

Oh WV! Sucks that you didn't get it, but yeah, why bother getting you to apply if they knew you didn't have the experience they were looking for?? Gah, annoying companies!
Louis Theroux boxset = ammmmmmazing!! Will and Chloe have been watching it more though haha. We've gone and watched all the early ones (and a bunch I missed) like Thai Brides, which is funny, wrong and sad. Ahh Louis, pretty much my dream man (sorry RPattz, I'm long over you now ...)
Two exciting things to share also: 1. I'm hopefully getting my laptop this weekend :D :D 2. I'm accompanying Jacinta on a meeting with Harper Collins next Thursday! ~networking~ hahaha
