1. What did you do this year that you've never done before? 
well....I went skydiving.  and I worked for corporate america.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? 
I had the same one I always have...to quit biting my nails.  And I NEVER quit.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth this year? 
Megan had her baby girl Fern.

4. Did anyone close to you die? 
well my moms closest friend and a good family friend Connie passed, but I can't remember if that was before the new year last year.....

5. What countries did you visit this year? 
canada?

6. What would you like to have in the next year that you lacked this year? 
cash.  just enough to pay the bills and maybe get some food.

7. What date from this year will remain etched upon your memory - and why? 
july 12thish, november 18th, our trip to canada...

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? 
getting into nursing school, and as of yet remaining in nursing school.  also, I made a very good cheescake.

9. What was your biggest failure of the year? 
quiting Target before signing up for auto-pay.  and slacking in school.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? 
well I'm always sick, but nothing major

11. What was the best thing you bought this year? 
rent for my apartment every month.  maybe my nursing books.  they were darn expensive and I never read as much as I am supposed to, but they are amazing.

13. Where did most of your money go this year? 
rent.  bills.  food.  books.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about this year? 
getting into nursing school.  passing my classes.  everytime Michael comes home.

- happier or sadder? definitely for happier :D
- richer or poorer?  very much poorer
- thinner or fatter? about the same

18. What do you wish you'd done more of? 
my homework.  and gone to class. and spent more time with my friends while they were here.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of? 
worrying.  and lolly-gaging when I should have been studying.

20. How did you spend the holiday?
Christmas with my odd little family, and New Years with some cool people up at Meany Lodge.

21. Did you fall in love this year? 
love is a very strong word.   and no.

22. How many one-night stands did you have this year? 
haha!   ....NONE.

23. What was your favorite TV program for the year? 
LOST or Heroes.  But Daybreak and The Office are imporant too.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year? 
Hate is also a very strong word.  but no.

25. What was the best book you read this year? 
Any one of my nursing books.  Its like candy!  Except the "therapeutic relations" crap.

26. What was your favorite film of the year? 
Not sure, I saw some good ones, and a lot more bad ones.

27. How would you describe your personal fashion concept this year? 
Lazy.  and frugal.

28. Whom did you miss this year? 
Everyone when they leave for school.  This small little valley just isn't the same!

29. Who was the best new person you met this year? 
Every nursing friend.  Unky Dave and the rest of my psuedo parents.

30. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned for this year. 
Judgement is a tricky thing. Its is very impossible to have any idea what you are talking about unless you have been in the situation that someone is going through.  Its like....putting chocolate on green beans.  You don't know what its like until you've tried it, so how can you sit there are say its no good?  Who says?  Really you have absolutely no idea.  Sometimes chocolate and green beans are good thing, and you should leave them alone.
