Films in and Dress *almost* done
Well our film ‘Pirates of the Fairly Deserted Isle’ is actually in the film festival now. We weren’t sure there for a while. But its exciting now. Pity we didn’t get any money for it :P But what can ya do. *shrugs* Its going to be at the regent theatre in Wollongong. Hopefully they wont let them go near the sound equipment and in not letting them near it, our film will have the desired effect of LOUDNESS!
I’ve finished my party dress bodice. I just have to sewn button holes and attach buttons to it and that’s done. The skirts are coming along. Sewed the muslin lining in last night. They all need to be hemmed yet. Tried it on and its looking good. I haven sewn the split down the middle yet. But I should do that tonight and all that will be left to do is the trimming and the underclothes when they come. Its nice and warm to wear actually.
And I saw on the S&S board, that there is a music book called ‘Jane Austens World’ I so want it! Its got that music from S&S that I love. The ladies say its easy stuff….just as well! I went back and am revising ‘Jesu joy of mans desiring’. I learnt it years ago and have forgotten and when I try to play it I get all frustrated cause I cant remember it. I use to be able to play it really really fast. Now I have to do it all over again!
Ah well. But I’m buying the music tomorrow..maybe I can ring Allans and see if they have it? Might do that.
