On submitting fanworks and a few clarifications

Jan 19, 2010 13:52

I was originally intending to open posting for the exchange on February 1, but after genaminna posted their lovely fill (and completed it in such a short time, too!), I've decided to just lift the restriction time before posting because any Giripan is always great to see, no matter what the time of the year is.

What this means is that if you complete your gift before February 1, you can go ahead and post it before then if you want. The official deadline is still at February 28, 11:59 pm Central Time, but you no longer need to wait until February to post.

[Sidenote: All exchange participants have now confirmed their assignments! Thank you so much, everyone!]

To keep things a little organized, though, please do format your fanworks by putting this header in front:
Title:
Author:
Recipient:
Original prompt:
Character(s)/Pairing(s) [you don't need to include this if your work has only Greece and Japan in it]
Genre: [you can leave this out if it's a simple fanart]
Rating: [warnings also go here, if needed]
Notes: [if needed]

Additionally, if you're posting your fill directly here, make sure to put it behind an LJ cut. You can definitely put a preview for fanart; just make sure that it isn't too large.

Also to clear a few things up:
  • You can fill more than one of your recipient's prompts if you like, but you're only required to fill one of them. (However, we're certainly not going to complain if you decide to give your recipient more Giripan gifts. :) )
  • After you post your fill here, you can indeed crosspost it to other communities (giripan, hetalia, etc).
  • I will post a master list of all fanworks here once this exchange has ended. I also might tag all entires, but I'm not sure yet.

And because I apparently like cute Giripan fanart too much for my own good, have this closing image for your enjoyment:
