*Rodimus Prime stands at the edge of one of Autobot City's top-level landing pads, fist raised level with his chest as if in salute. A panel on his forearm lifts away and he begins to speak, steady and strong

*folds her arms and does a relatively good job of not fidgeting* So now everyone's on alert, what do we do? Aside from look out for Void and charge the lasers.
"We get bigger guns," Perceptor replies quite matter-of-factly as he approaches.
He steps up to Rodimus and offers him a very large, rather impressive looking cannon. "From Wheeljack's private collection," he explains, and then holds up a hand to forestall any response from Rodimus. "I assure you that it is safe. I installed the safeties and tested it myself. It has a limited power source, and thus a limited number of shots - no more than five; make them count. The weapon should, however, increase your power and range for those few shots by at least an order of magnitude over your normal primary weaponry."
He then steps back out of the way, checks the power levels on his weapons' systems, and waits for orders.
His optics dart from Dreadboots to the alternate Scourge to Rodimus and back to Dreadboots again. There is an incredibly odd flash of... almost kinship in his expression for an instant before it flits away. He steps close and pulls a small object out of subspace before pressing it into Dreadboots' hand. It's not a gun, but looks more like a transformer sized version of an Earthen livestock Hot-Shot, with a single button on the side and a pair of prongs protruding from the front. It is obviously a weapon meant to be used close in.
"From my private collection," he explains quietly, leaning in so that his voice carries no further than the two of them. "Neural Disrupter. It has power for a few discharges in the lower settings, but only one if you set it to Max." He smiles tightly again, and there is a ruthlessness in his expression that most would probably not credit the normally absent-minded scientist with having. "Maximum output is quite... excruciating. Use it wisely."
*her optic ridges shoot up sky-high, both from the tone and the smile - she glances down at the vicious little weapon, with a blink at both what he's implying and the fact that Perceptor of all people would be carrying one of these around...*
*just as quietly, glancing back to meet his optics* Thanks. I don't normally carry anything I don't have built-in, so - some extra help's appreciated. *rather nervous little smile, trying not to look so anxious*
*wryly* Speaking of your built in weaponry, 'Boots, I don't suppose that whatever it was you did to drive Rodimus Prime to a cold reboot all those times would work on Void? I mean, just a thought...
*that surprises a huff of laughter from her, then her optics narrow and she bites her lip* ...Not necessesarily the same way, but it might make him regret snitching our wings.
*looks slightly embarrassed, but-* If I can do to Void whateveritis I did to Roddy, that'd help, right? If he can feel what people felt from touching bits of them... *shrugs uncertainly*

*listens to Perceptor's explanation, then grins* Sometimes, Perce, I like the way you think. *grin*
