Spike is leaning on Roddy as if he's about to collapse at any second. He gazes around, not recognizing anything.

"This isn't... where are we?"

Daniel had gotten back from the Nexus a while ago and when he sees the robot clinging to Rodimus, he scowls in disgust.

"That thing tried to attack me, you know," he mumbles, "'course he thought I was Dad."

*watery smile* Sorry, Danny. I'll make sure it doesn't happen again.

Daniel grins. "'Course I will, Roddy. What'cha need?"

Go warn First Aid.

Daniel grins and nods, stretching a moment before darting off to the medbay.

Spike's optics lock onto Daniel, but he says nothing. His expression doesn't change.

This is Autobot City. Our base of operations on Earth.

"Autobot City..." He echoes, "I've never... heard of it." Had he the mental power at the moment, he might realize it shouldn't exist, if he doesn't know of it.

Spike watches Daniel leave, then turns to face Rodimus once more. The child was confusing -- unnerving, even -- he couldn't quite place why. He didn't feel quite comfortable stating his real name around him or his friends. After a moment, he finally says something.

"Autospike," he mumbles, remembering that Megatron had called him that once. Even with his limited mental power... he could tell it seemed somehow fitting a monster like Megatron would name him.

Autospike it is, then. *it's not exactly a traditional Autobot name, but this is hardly a traditional Autobot. It's hard to tell if he even has a transform.*

I'm going to take you to see the medic here, First Aid. Just for a checkup, and we can talk more then, all right?

Spike stares blankly. "Not Ratchet?" he asks.

He... died. A couple years ago. There was an attack...

"He... dead," Spike mumbles. All for the better, maybe, he didn't want to go back to Ratchet. Ratchet helped cause this. Ratchet... was gone? "I'll go... First Aid, then."

*smiles* You'll like him. He's a good mech.
