I love this crazy tragic, sometimes almost magic, awful beautiful life...
Yey I'm back from Colorado!
Fist day was spent buying stuff for our room, got some bedding stuff a poster and a 15in plasma screen tv as a graduation present from Aunt Carol and Gramma. Went with Gramma to see Uncle Bob at the races, he wasn't racing this time tho, he was just showing his cars. It was cool tho because we were on the staging lane and we got to watch the crews and we could see them start off! It was cool to see the top fuel cars go.
Spent the next few days hanging out and doing things with Meagan and the family which was fun. Finally saw Pirates which made me very happy! ^_^ Sunday night was one of the best nights of my life. Meagan and various other people took me to the Grizzly Rose. It was so much fun, they played country music and they taught me the steps to all the songs (or they tried to ^_~) By the end of the night I could actually do some of the dances without much trouble. After that we stopped at Wendys and then it was home because Meggie and I had to be up at 6 to go to orientation!
Got lost going up to Greeley, ended up in Estes Park and almost in Rocky Mountain National Park which is 16 miles in the wrong direction, we had to stop at some random indian relic store or what not. We felt bad because we didnt buy anything so we made a promise to ourselves that we will go back one day a buy something cuz the lady was nice and gave us directions. Got to see the campus for the first time, it's absolutely gorgeous. Saw the outside of Wilson Hall but not the inside but we stayed in Wiebking Hall which is the twin of ours. The room was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be! Registered for classes finally, taking Biology, Geology, College Algebra, and Beginner Japanese! Might change it later on tho because both the science classes are lab classes so that might be a little tough first semester but yeah ^_^ Made lots of new friends like Daniel. He was a cool kid, we even went on an adventure to find his water bottle (which he found eventually) ^_^ Left wednesday evening and got back to NH around 2 am. Got a call this morning from Peggy asking of I could babysit, it's $10 an hour so I'm happy ^_^
