(no subject)
Aug. 25, 2010 11:30 ct. At Memphis international airport. Made it thru security in about 10 minutes flat. Dad was nice enough to drive me here, and cousin Marvin was nice enough to come along for correct directions. Another omen... A good one this time. The Memphis airport is just off of Winchester Dr exit. Everything went so fast already that I now have to wait over 2 hours before I can board. I am the only one in my B6 terminal. My throat is still a bit dry and scratchy and my ears are still popping. I hope that they will be able to handle the plane pressure. I'm going to find something to eat and drink. 2 hours... Hmm.
Around 1:30pm ct, the terminal is starting to fill up. A very nice, but very talkative lady sat down next to me and began filling me in on her life, I guess to catch up on all the time that we have missed together, and why she was in Memphis. She was finally able to have some Neely's BBQ, of which she had way too much of. Unfortunately, her frend since second grade was not able to have any do to being in the hospital, and having a surgery and all. Then, pulling a cell phone out from her bra, made sure it was okay with me that she made a quick call, I approved, and she finally started talking to someone else.
Finally! Time to board the plane!!
