over a year ago i went in search of a florist to have flowers arranged for my friend.
some time during that week we decided to engrave braclets with these words,
"dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today - JL"
today i had to send flowers to someone i never met but who's son i've known for the past year. i didn't know what to write on the card. what do you say at a time like this? i don't think i'll ever really know. i decided to pass on the words of my friend and hope that it can at least provide some small sense of comfort and understanding.
