The Beatles: LOVE
Some of you asked me about "Love" recently, so I think I'll just respond here to everyone ;)
I do love "Cirque du soleil". My wife and I own several albums of theirs, and I admit that they are famous for their show soundtracks which are always good. They have excellent taste in choosing music that is both good per se and can be a good background for their show.
And I do like sir George Martin and whatever he does.
I've also got nothing against remixes when they're good.
BUT.
I just do not see how 'Love" can be a Beatles album. It has nothing to do with the Beatles. It's nice, it's pleasant, it can be good background music, and it is very good, er, professionally. However for me it is but a tribute, or yet another "Cirque" CD.
