Why Spike is not a role-model for children
Pookie is in here watching the Buffy musical, "Once More With Feeling," which the hubby and I thought would be okay for her at this point. She loves musicals, there's nothing too graphic or scary in this episode, and not any adult content for us to be concerned about.
And yet.
Now I find myself in an argument with her about why she can't mimic Spike's expressions. I caught her saying, "Bugger this!" She thinks it's funny-sounding gibberish (though she also thinks that about most Brit-speak, lol!) and refuses to believe it's a vulgar figure of speech.
Hopefully she'll obey on this one. Otherwise, I'll be hearing from her school soon, asking me why my daughter is swearing in Brit.
