Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows review (Spoilers ONLY behind the cuts)

Nov 16, 2010 00:47

ABOUT SPOILERS: This post starts out with a general, spoiler-free review.  I have tried very hard to put anything that might be considered a spoiler underneath an LJ-cut ( click here if you don't see the cuts).  I've even used fake LJ-cuts below so I don't give away where the film ends. However, if you consider discussions of the film sets, ( Read more... )

This is fantastic! There are several people on my flist who are worried about this movie based on reviews and this really makes up for that. Would you mind if I link them to this? I think a lot that's here would ease their minds a lot.

Also: *squee* I get to see this in 28 hours! *cough* calms down a little ...

Thank you so much!!

Definitely feel free to link this around! I'd love it if you'd link my hubby's official review, too, when I post it in the next few days, if you don't mind. :-)

Just please make sure you warn those that are coming over that if they are really, really sensitive to spoilers, please don't yell at me. ;) I've tried really hard to make everything outside of an LJ-cut be spoiler-free, but I must admit I'm worried that some people might still consider my initial observations to be spoiler-ish. What do you think? Is there anything outside a cut that you think might be considered a spoiler?

I can't see anything spoilery outside the links, no. But then I am *thoroughly* spoiled anyway (because that's how I like it) so I might not pay attention so well. There's no worries about my flist people -- they are all spoiled too. I will definitely link both this and your husband's review when it comes/

Yup!! Anne-with-an-e! Hugging Diana, of course. :) I love her, too! See, I knew you were a kindred spirit!

*drools over Gilbert*

Is that really Diana? For some reason I had her pegged as Miss Stacey.

And Gilbert was my absolute first fictional crush *big sigh* I think maybe it's time to watch my Anne DVDs again. And maybe re-read the books too ...

I just introduced my 8-year-old, "Pookie," to the Anne miniseries (on VHS, lol!), and to the love of all things Gilbert. I had a passionate an unquenchable love for Gilbert, too. I've actually looked for Anne of Green Gables fanfic in years past because I really can't get enough of him. Sadly, that is a very un-touched fandom. And what is there, was mostly yucky. *sigh*

Now I think I'll just sit here and meditate on Gilbert for awhile.

Whoops! You're both right. Definitely Miss Stacey. I obviously need to rewatch the series!

And here's a bit more Gilbert for you. Feel free to swoon. :-)
