In other news, I caught the tail end of King Ralph tonight in order to watch Jackie Tyler date the King. I amused myself by imagining how much it would irritate the Doctor to see Jackie dating the king of England. The episode is particularly entertaining since it ends with King Ralph abdicating with the understanding that his (and Camille Coduri's) child will be the next heir to the throne after Cedric. As I was musing aloud about this and the crack!fic that ought to be out there (but apparently isn't!), my hubby wandered in and said, "Well, if the Doctor had any problem with Jackie dating the king, he could always depose King Ralph in favor of The Master." True dat.
